Standards for future support
Any future model should be understandable before a reader contributes. At minimum:
- Editorial judgment cannot be purchased.
- Sponsorships and affiliate relationships must be labeled where readers encounter them.
- Supporter data must be minimized and never sold.
- Free access, RSS, and core editorial usefulness should remain meaningful.
- Cancellation should be as straightforward as joining.
- Material conflicts and funding relationships should be disclosed.
Transparency before expansion
When a real funding option is selected, this page will explain who processes payments, what information they receive, whether benefits are recurring, and how the arrangement affects privacy and editorial operations.
For now, the most useful support is simple: read the work, share it directly with someone who would value it, and send thoughtful signals when the contact channel opens.
